Grandma Marsha came and stayed one week with us. It was great to have her here!
Our little pea pod!
Got to love a big sister and brother!

New and Proud Daddy as of May 29, 2010

We named him John Jackson, born May 29 at 4:17 am. He weighed 8lbs 6oz and 20 1/2 inches. And he was 12 days early. He is the 8th generation of John's, after Yancy (John Yancy Barnett). The Jackson is after my Grandpa, Warren Jackson. He is very loved, and held all the time.

Amy Jo Had A Birthday!!!

My little Amy turned 6 years old. She has her birthday outfit on that she bought with Grandma and Grandpa's birthday money. Uncle Jim, Aunt Kristy, Tyson, Kapri, Brock, Yancy, Aunt Robyn, Aunt Patti, and her kids all came to her party. We love you Amy Jo!

For Amy's birthday she wanted to go to Jump On It. It was fun trying all the crazy tricks.

WARNING, WARNING!!! These are extreme videos. Don't try these tricks at home.

We had snow for Thanksgiving

We spent 5 days in Bayfield for Thanksgiving. It went by so fast. We ate, and played games, and ate, and played basketball, and ate, and played in the snow, and then ate some more. It's still the tradition for our unique head apparell. Amy found a free space to color a picture.
Say CHEESE

After the feast most everyone was helping clean up. These 3 yeahoos thought they would rest instead.

Grandpa is now taking a rest with Uncle Tracy after he washed dishes for almost an hour.

Kaysie, Levi, and Amy were hoping it would snow so they could get pulled around on the 4wheelers in the fields. Luckily, it snowed just enough to cover all the cow pies. Levi and Amy had the first crash with many more to come. I was laughing so hard watching them laugh.

Yes, I think they are going backwards. And, I wonder if they could fit one more person on?

Kaysie made the first snowman!

Our other family member

I had to write about our other family member. We got him January 2006 from a disgusting, flea infested home. I got brave and went against family pet guidelines, and was the first to own an indoor cat in a few generations. But he made our home a little happier at the time and still does. We call him "kitty" because that's all he comes to. He's always sleeping in the middle of the kids just as sprawled out as they are. Or sometimes I wake up wondering who is taking up all the room in my king size bed and it's him. You don't dare push him over or he'll attack your hand. He's made for some interesting times, bringing in mice, birds, beatles, and huge grasshoppers, oh and some girlfriends too.

Happy Halloween

We had a long lashed 20's girl, a pretty bride, and a glamour witch at our house.

Our fun pumkin carving.

The Halloween Party!

We wrapped Uncle Jay and Uncle Bart in toilet paper as mummies.

We did the famous donut game and wow was it messy. Us adults will leave that for the kids.

Amy and Tyson doing the donut dance.

In our "fear factor" game Kristy had to eat chocoloate covered slugs (chocolate covered green beans) and Cara had to eat chocolate covered earthworms (chocolate and oreo covered pickles). It was the funniest thing to watch their faces. Way to go Kristy and Cara!!

We are plugging along, keeping busy, and having fun. Everyday brings some new adventure to our lives.

Amy Jo is in gymnastics and shows us her moves everyday. She started kindergarten this year and loves school. Amy keeps us laughing with her funny sayings and her quick humor.

Levi is now in 3rd grade and is learning something new all the time. He is a fast learner and always has a project of somekind in the works. He has many friends and includes everyone. He likes to ride his skateboard and bike, and him and Kaysie always get a game of soccer in everyday.

Kaysie is my sweet, shy little girl that's not so little anymore. She's the tallest in her 5th grade class, and is almost passing me up. She's very athletic, and very studious, plus alot of fun to be around.
